The Clemson football program should see several players taken in the 2020 NFL Draft. One of those will be WR Tee Higgins.

Tee Higgins announced that he’d be foregoing his final year of eligibility with the Clemson football program to pursue his dream of playing in the NFL.

The decision came as no surprise as Higgins was one of the top wide receivers in the country throughout the season and had an opportunity to be drafted highly, as a result.

As we inch closer to the 2020 NFL Draft, Rubbing the Rock will be giving you a breakdown of each Clemson football player.

Here’s a look at our Draft Profile for Tee Higgins.

2020 NFL Draft Profile: Tee Higgins

Height: 6-foot-4

Weight: 215 pounds

Draft Projection: Late First-Rounder

Analysis:

When you look at Higgins, you see a big, physical wide receiver who has the ability to step in and make an impact with some NFL organization right away.

Higgins still has room to develop- especially in route-running- but he shows good hands and an ability to high-point the football while being guarded.

You’re not going to find a more athletic wide receiver at that size, in terms of his vertical, and he would make a perfect boundary option for a franchise looking to bring in an addition to a solid wide receiver room.

Higgins is able to pull in highlight-reel catches and make plays that leaves the crowd asking ‘How did he do that?’ When you have that type of ability, field awareness and elite hands, you’re going to be drafted highly.

Look for Higgins to be a late-first rounder who could potentially move up or down draft boards depending on how he performs at the NFL Combine later this spring.
