The Clemson football team will take on the Ohio State Buckeyes Saturday evening in Glendale, Arizona. Here’s a look at the weather report for the matchup.

Will the retractable roof be closed or open for the match-up between Clemson football and Ohio State in the 2019 Fiesta Bowl?

The Tigers and Buckeyes will clash Saturday night in the Fiesta Bowl for an opportunity to advance to the National Championship.

The Clemson football program is carrying a 28-game winning streak into the CFB Playoff and will be looking to advance to the National Championship for a fourth time in the last five years.

Though State Farm Stadium has a retractable roof, it’s still interesting to see what the weather will look like heading into the Clemson football game.

Here’s a look at our weather report for the Fiesta Bowl.

Clemson Football Weather Report:

High: 57

Low: 40

Chance of Rain: 20 percent

Humidity: 62 percent

Wind: 4 MPH

Temp at GameTime: 50

Thoughts:

As we said earlier, State Farm Stadium has a retractable roof so that weather won’t be a factor in the game.

Clemson football fans can expect that roof to be closed Saturday night, though, because of the relatively cold temperatures. There’s not much of a chance for rain, but the temperature is expected to be right about 50 degrees at game time.

Though we think of Arizona having mild temperatures, it will actually be warmer in Clemson Saturday than in Glendale. The high for the upstate of South Carolina is expected to 64 degrees and it will be right around 55 degrees at the time of the game for those Clemson football fans who won’t be making the trip for the bowl game.
