4. Citrus Bowl: Alabama vs. Michigan

The Citrus Bowl is a game of not because of the participants.

It’s a battle of two prominent bluebloods of College Football, but one is certainly unexpected.

This is the first year since the inception of the CFB Playoff that we’ll see Alabama participate in a bowl that isn’t a part of the playoff.

The Crimson Tide lost two games- one to LSU at home and one to in-state rival Auburn- and they’ll be looking to finish the year on a good note and gain valuable experience for many of next year’s stars.

Michigan will be looking to reel off a huge victory for its program.

This one likely won’t be close, but it is interesting because we’re seeing Nick Saban participate in a non-CFB Playoff bowl game.
