2. Loaded Up-Front

No other program in the country signed more 4-star and 5-star linemen than Clemson football.

The Tigers signed a total of four defensive linemen and four offensive linemen with at least 4-stars, according to the 247 Sports’ Composite player rankings. These include Bryan Bresee (5-star DL), Myles Murphy (5-star DE), Demonte Capehart (5-star DT), Walker Parks (4-star OT), Tre Williams (4-star DT), Paul Tchio (4-star OL), Mitchell Mayes (4-star OL) and Bryn Tucker (4-star OL).

Success for a football team starts in the trenches and it’s clear that Clemson took that very seriously in the 2020 cycle.

Many Tiger fans were disappointed with last year’s offensive line class, but it’s tough to argue with four 4-star commitments and two more 3-star commitments in this year’s cycle.
