5-star DE Jordan Burch

5-star DE Jordan Burch hasn’t revealed much of anything in terms of his recruitment.

Burch announced his top-five schools several months ago with a finalist list of Clemson, LSU, Alabama, South Carolina and Georgia.

Through each point of his recruitment, Burch has been trending towards one school or another. The Tigers were the favorite at first. South Carolina was then the favorite. Then it was back to Clemson. Then there was a short stint with Alabama, followed by LSU and then back to South Carolina, then LSU and now Georgia.

Honestly, who knows?

Because of all the uncertainty surrounding Burch, I’m inclined to believe he’s not choosing Clemson football. He lives in Columbia and isn’t an early enrollee, despite the fact that he will make his decision during the 2 p.m. hour on Wednesday.

Next. 5-star LB Trenton Simpson is a late gem for Clemson. dark

Burch may very well surprise me, but for now I’d expect that the Tigers aren’t going to get a commitment from the 5-star. I also believe that he wants to stay relatively close, but compete for a championship-caliber program in the SEC. In steps the Bulldogs.
