The Clemson football team will take on Virginia, but there are several other great games this weekend. Here’s a look at our TV Guide for the weekend.

The Clemson football team will take on the Virginia Cavaliers in the ACC Championship game Saturday night, but it’s not just the Tigers who’ll be in action this weekend.

As we head into Saturday, there are plenty of interesting College Football games for Clemson football fans to enjoy.

Here’s a look at our TV Guide for Clemson football heading into conference championship Saturday.

Noon Slate:

  • #7 Baylor vs. #6 Oklahoma, 12 p.m. (ABC)

While there are a few other Group of 5 games being played at this time, the eyes of the nation will be on Oklahoma-Baylor. The winner of this game has an opportunity to get to the CFB Playoff with a little bit of help from the committee. It’ll be interesting to see if the Sooners can pull off a second win over the Bears after they had a come-from-behind victory when the two teams last matched up.

Afternoon Slate:

  • #20 Cincinnati at #17 Memphis, 3:30 p.m. (ABC)
  • #4 Georgia vs. #2 LSU, 4 p.m. (CBS)

The afternoon slate featured two very interesting games. Both Cincinnati and Memphis are competing for a New Year’s Six bowl. The winner of Georgia-LSU will be in the CFB Playoff and there’s no guarantee that the loser- if it’s LSU- will be out of the top-four when it’s all said and done Sunday.

Night Slate:

  • #23 Virginia vs. #3 Clemson, 7:30 p.m. (ABC)
  • #1 Ohio State vs. #8 Wisconsin, 8 p.m. (FOX)

Obviously, Clemson football fans will be tuning in to watch their Tigers take on the Virginia Cavaliers in this time slot. The Tigers need a win to basically clinch a spot in the CFB Playoff.

Ohio State could potentially lose the game to Wisconsin and still get into the playoff, but the Buckeyes will likely lock up the No. 1 seed with a win over the Badgers Saturday night, giving Clemson the winner of the SEC Championship as its opponent.
