The 2019 Clemson football senior class will run down the hill one final time Saturday afternoon when the Tigers take on Wake Forest.

The 2019 Clemson football senior class is one of the most decorated classes in the history of College Football.

As a matter of fact, the class has an opportunity to become the winningest group in the history of CFB if they close out the season- and the postseason- strong. The group holds a 51-3 overall record and they are 26-1 in Death Valley.

A win Saturday against Wake Forest would put the 2019 Clemson football senior class in fourth place for all-time victories by a class, just behind 2018 Clemson (55), 2018 Alabama (55) and 2017 Alabama (53).

Interestingly enough, the group could become the undisputed winningest class in history with five more victories. If the Tigers beat Wake Forest and South Carolina, then follow that up with an ACC Championship, they’d have an opportunity at the feat with a win in the CFB Playoff semifinals to tie the record and a victory in the National Championship game to break the record.

Here’s a look at the Clemson football seniors who will run down the hill Saturday, according to the Clemson athletic department:

  • OL Tremayne Anchrum
  • TE J.L. Banks
  • OL Gage Cervenka
  • CB Brian Dawkins Jr.
  • OL Zach Giella
  • WR Carter Groomes
  • LB Landon Holden
  • S Denzel Johnson
  • S Tanner Muse
  • WR Diondre Overton
  • LS Patrick Phibbs
  • OL Sean Pollard
  • OL Chandler Reeves
  • P/K Steven Sawicki
  • LB Isaiah Simmons (RS Jr.)
  • OL John Simpson
  • LB Chad Smith
  • RB Tyler Traynham
  • S K’Von Wallace

Isaiah Simmons will run down the hill and is expected to graduate in December.

Though he didn’t say for sure that he wouldn’t be returning to the Clemson football program for one final season, it can certainly be expected that he’ll declare for the NFL Draft following this season, especially since he is projected to be a top-10 pick.

This 2019 Clemson football senior class is special. The group is currently leading the program’s longest winning streak- 25 games- and they’ve been a part of two National Titles, four CFB Playoff appearances, four ACC Championships and have never lost to in-state rival South Carolina.
