The Clemson football team will play host to the Boston College Eagles tonight, but what other games are going on around the world of College Football?

The Clemson football team will host the Boston College Eagles tonight as part of Homecoming.

While thousands of Tiger fans will be up in Death Valley to celebrate the festivities, many will not be able to make it. Even Clemson football fans who will be in Tiger Town will be looking for games to watch during the afternoon as they tailgate and prepare for the upcoming game.

Because of that, Rubbing the Rock gives you a TV Guide tailored to the Clemson football fan each week.

Here’s a look at our TV Guide for Week 9 of the College Football season.

Noon Slate

  • #13 Wisconsin at #3 Ohio State, 12 p.m. (FOX)
  • #5 Oklahoma at Kansas State, 12 p.m. (ABC)
  • Miami at Pittsburgh, 12 p.m. (ESPN)

The vast majority of eyes will be on that Wisconsin-Ohio State game on FOX at noon. Could the Badgers pull off an upset and potentially knock Ohio State out of the CFB Playoff picture?

Most likely, the Buckeyes will still have a path, but it could be an elimination game. Clemson football fans will be pulling for the upset, especially after all the garbage the Tigers have had to hear about Ohio State to this point in the season.

Afternoon Slate

  • #9 Auburn at #2 LSU, 3:30 p.m. (CBS)
  • #6 Penn State at Michigan State, 3:30 p.m. (ABC)
  • #15 Texas at TCU, 3:30 p.m. (FOX)
  • Syracuse at Florida State, 3:30 p.m. (ESPN 2)
  • Virginia at Louisville, 3:30 p.m. (ACC Network)
  • South Carolina at Tennessee, 4 p.m. (SEC Network)

There are quite a few interesting games during the afternoon slate, but Clemson football fans will likely be watching Auburn-LSU on CBS.

Night Slate

  • Boston College at #4 Clemson, 7:30 p.m. (ACC Network)
  • Arkansas at #1 Alabama, 7 p.m. (ESPN)
  • #8 Notre Dame at #19 Michigan, 7:30 p.m. (ABC)
  • Washington State at #11 Oregon, 10:30 p.m. (ESPN)

The Tigers will be looking to reel off their 23rd straight win with a victory over Boston College Saturday night.
