The Clemson football team will travel up to Louisville this weekend. Here are five storylines to watch in the Tigers’ matchup with the Cardinals.

The Clemson football team came out of the bye week with a purpose. The Tigers were fired up and laser-focused for their matchup with Florida State.

As a result, Clemson beat the Seminoles down by a score of 45-14 and the game wasn’t really even that close. Dabo Swinney elected to call the dogs off and played more than 80 Tigers over the course of the game.

The Clemson football team enters this week as a 24-point favorite over the Louisville Cardinals. The Cardinals are coming off a 62-59 win over a ranked Wake Forest team and will be looking to provide a monumental upset at home this weekend.

The Tigers, on the other hand, come into the matchup looking to leave no doubt and play at a high level. Even though Clemson won by more than 30 points last weekend, the Tigers were jumped by LSU in the AP Poll.

The poll that matters- the CFB Playoff poll– is released at the beginning of November, just a few weeks from now, so it’s conceivable that Clemson football will enter these next few games aiming to make a statement to the committee.
