What does the depth chart look like for Clemson football heading into the FSU game? Here’s our breakdown for the Tigers in the matchup.

The Clemson football team had a productive bye week and the Tigers are now ready to get back on the field and compete.

The last time we saw Clemson, the Tigers narrowly escaped with a 21-20 victory over North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

Now, Clemson will look to rebound with a matchup against the Florida State Seminoles.

Here’s a look at our breakdown of the depth charts heading into the FSU game.

Offensive Depth Chart Breakdown:

The only change for the offensive depth chart comes at wide receiver. Amari Rodgers is now listed as the sole starter at the slot wide receiver spot instead of a co-starter with Diondre Overton. Luke Price, Davis Allen and Jaelyn Lay are all listed as co-backups at tight end, but it’s expected that Price will be the first guy off the bench.

Overall, everything looks good offensively.

The Tigers have had a week to get healthy and heal up from some early bumps and bruises. That will bode well and I expect that we’ll see the offense look much more explosive this weekend against the Seminoles.

Defensive Depth Chart Breakdown:

Defensively, things stay the same.

Freshman DT Tyler Davis and Jordan Williams are listed as co-starters, but Davis has been the first man out this season and that will likely not change.

Logan Rudolph is a co-starter at both defensive end spots with Justin Foster and Xavier Thomas. He’ll likely continue to start ahead of Foster while rotating on the other side, as well. Expect to see Thomas get a little extra playing time this weekend.

The defense will have an opportunity to get in the backfield in this one against one of the weaker offensive lines in the ACC. Florida State gave up eight sacks to NC State a couple of weeks ago and it should be expected that the Tigers are able to exploit that weak spot of the Seminole offense and get after QBs James Blackman and Alex Hornibrook Saturday afternoon.
