There’s no Clemson football to watch this Saturday, but there’s still plenty of interesting CFB games for Tiger fans to watch during Week 6 of the season.

Clemson football fans will be left without being able to watch their Tigers this Saturday due to the bye week.

Despite having a bye week, it should be expected that Clemson football fans still tune into watch some College Football.

So, what are the top games to watch Saturday? Here’s a look at our TV Guide for Week 6, even with no Clemson football on the slate.

Noon Slate

  • Purdue at #12 Penn State, 12 p.m. (ESPN)
  • #14 Iowa at #19 Michigan, 12 p.m. (FOX)
  • #21 Oklahoma State at Texas Tech, 12 p.m. (FS1)
  • Boston College at Louisville, 12:30 p.m. (ACC Network Extra)

Let’s be honest here: The noon slate just isn’t that good. Many teams have byes this week and there just aren’t too many games for Clemson football fans to truly have interest in. Perhaps we see an upset or two that creates some interest? That may be the best we can hope for in this timeslot.

Afternoon Slate

  • #7 Auburn at #10 Florida, 3:30 p.m. (CBS)
  • #11 Texas at West Virginia, 3:30 p.m. (ABC)
  • Air Force at Navy, 3:30 p.m. (CBSSN)
  • Virginia Tech at Miami, 3:30 p.m. (ESPN)
  • North Carolina at Georgia Tech, 4 p.m. (ACC Network)

There’s a couple of lower-level ACC games that could provide some intrigue. Obviously, the most-watched game of the day will be Auburn at Florida. We expect to see the Tigers come away with the victory in that one.

Night Slate

  • #3 Georgia at Tennessee, 7 p.m. (ESPN)
  • #25 Michigan State at #4 Ohio State, 7:30 p.m. (ABC)
  • California at #13 Oregon, 8 p.m. (FOX)
  • Pittsburgh at Duke, 8 p.m. (ACC Network)
  • #15 Washington at Stanford, 10:30 p.m. (ESPN)

Unless something goes completely wrong, we’re not going to see an upset here in the night slate. Georgia is clearly better than Tennessee and Michigan State is overrated. The Spartans aren’t a top-25 team, though people will want to give Ohio State for beating a ranked opponent by four scores in this one.
