The Clemson football team opened up as heavy Vegas favorites over the North Carolina Tarheels. Here’s an early look at the ACC match up.

The Clemson football team continued its winning ways Saturday night with a 52-10 win over the Charlotte 49ers.

The win, a 42-point rout, was good enough to beat the spread which was listed 41.5 points. The Tigers and 49ers also finished right on the number (62) for the total number of points scored in the outing.

With the win, Clemson football improved to 4-0 on the season and the Tigers will now look to continue their winning ways with a game right before the season’s first bye week.

Clemson will travel to Chapel Hill to take on the North Carolina Tarheels in a match up slated to start at 3:30 p.m. Here’s a look at the early Vegas odds for the game.

Early Vegas Odds vs. UNC:

Opening Line: UNC +26.5

Thoughts:

Clemson comes into this one as a 26.5-point favorite. The Tigers were similarly a 28-point favorite against Syracuse a couple of weeks ago when they went on the road to the Carrier Dome.

North Carolina is coming off two-straight losses to Wake Forest and App State and is reeling coming into this one. The Tarheels have seemingly had their eyes set on this game for two weeks now since they started out hot with a win over South Carolina.

They’ll get their chance at Clemson this Saturday, but likely won’t enjoy the result.

The Clemson football team has more talent and depth, which will show over the course of this game. The Mack Brown experiment looked good to start the season, but a third-straight loss may put a bit of a damper on things for Tarheel fans heading into the rest of 2019.

Next. Offensive Grades vs. Charlotte 49ers. dark

Overall, I’d expect Clemson to dominate this one and take control of it early. The Tigers are likely to begin changing into midseason form, which will feature an unstoppable offense and an elite defense to match.
