Famous rapper and singer Cardi B said she wanted a Clemson football jersey and it looks as if she may be getting her wish after all.

The Clemson football team celebrates every single win with dancing in the locker room. Saturday was no exception.

The Tigers routed the Charlotte 49ers 52-10 and played a total of 111 players in the process. Following the win, the team celebrated by dancing to Cardi B’s verse of ‘Who Want the Smoke?’ The video was posted on Twitter and received attention from the famous rapper and singer herself.

It looks as if Cardi B will be getting her wish, receiving a reply from the official Clemson football Twitter account.

It’s amazing how far the Clemson football brand has expanded in such a short time under Dabo Swinney. When Swinney took over this program a little more than a decade ago, it was in shambles. The Tigers hadn’t won an ACC Atlantic Division Championship in what seemed like forever. Swinney brought Clemson back to prominence and continued to build the program with conference championships and solid recruiting.

That took yet another step when the Tigers made the CFB Playoff under the leadership of Deshaun Watson. They came up just short in the National Championship game in 2015, but got their revenge in 2016 with a last second touchdown against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Since that point, Clemson football has emerged to the top of the College Football world. The Tigers are considered the nation’s best program right now and are in a tier with only Alabama when looking at the state of the programs across the College Football landscape.
