The fourth week of the College Football season is already upon us. Here’s our picks against the spread for several prominent games around the nation.

The 2019 College Football season is already almost one-third of the way over.

The Clemson Tigers came away with a 41-6 victory over Syracuse last weekend and now the Tigers will take on Charlotte in Death Valley Saturday night.

But, what about outside of Clemson?

Each week, Rubbing the Rock gives you a breakdown of some of the prominent College Football games around the country- some pertaining to Clemson- and our picks against the spread for those games.

Here’s a look at our picks against the spread for College Football Week 4.

#11 Michigan at #13 Wisconsin

Current Spread: Wisconsin -3.5

Spread Prediction:

I’m not surprise to see Wisconsin as the favorite. I can go ahead and tell you to take the ‘under’ in this one. Neither offense is going to score a lot of points, but somehow Michigan will find a way to win the game outright and stay in the national discussion.

#8 Auburn at #17 Texas A&M

Current Spread: Texas A&M -3.5

Spread Prediction:

Texas A&M is the favorite coming into this one and I think that’s correct. The Aggies have an explosive offense good enough to score some points on Auburn and they have one of the nation’s best run defenses to this point in the season. Auburn is still struggling to score on defenses that have a pulse and I think the Tigers will have a tough time in College Station.

#7 Notre Dame at #3 Georgia

Current Spread: Georgia -10.5

Spread Prediction:

Georgia is a 10-point favorite and it might not be that close. Notre Dame has no business being ranked No. 7 in the nation. The Fighting Irish aren’t even a top-10 team and the Bulldogs will prove that Saturday night. They’ll win by a couple of touchdowns and all the national analysts will blush over Georgia’s dominance, but it won’t be because they beat a good team.

South Carolina at Missouri

Current Spread: Missouri -9.5

Spread Prediction:

Ryan Hillinski has been a breath of fresh air into that South Carolina program. Missouri lost to Wyoming to open the season. Really, this is a battle of two mediocre SEC East programs. Missouri is on the road, so they should be the favorite, but I think the Gamecocks keep this one close.

They have an offense to score some points on the Tigers and I don’t trust that Kelly Bryant will be able to take advantage of those issues in the Gamecock secondary. Missouri may win the game, but I don’t think it will be by double-digits.

CBS already showing major SEC bias. dark. Next

So, to review, we are taking:

  • Michigan +3.5 vs. Wisconsin
  • Texas A&M -3.5 vs. Auburn
  • Georgia -10.5 vs. Notre Dame
  • South Carolina +9.5 vs. Missouri
