What’s on the television for Clemson football fans during Week 2 of the season? Here’s the best games to watch Saturday afternoon for Tiger fans.

Clemson football fans had to search elsewhere last Saturday to watch football. The Tigers played on a Thursday night and, therefore, left Tiger fans without a Clemson game to watch on Saturday.

This Saturday, Clemson football will host Texas A&M. The Tigers, ranked No. 1 in the nation, will be looking to make a statement win early in the season against the top-12 ranked Aggies.

Outside of Clemson, though, there are several other interesting games to watch. Here’s a look at the best CFB games to watch during week two of the season.

Clemson Football TV Guide: Week 2

Noon Slate…

  • Cincinnati at #5 Ohio State, 12 p.m. (ABC)
  • Army at #7 Michigan, 12 p.m. (FOX)
  • #21 Syracuse at Maryland, 12 p.m. (ESPN)
  • West Virginia at Missouri, 12 p.m. (ESPN 2)
  • Charleston Southern at South Carolina, 12 p.m. (SEC Network)

The noon slate is actually pretty decent this week. Obviously, most Clemson football fans will be watching Syracuse take on Maryland for scouting purposes for next week when the Tigers take on the Orange. Outside of that one, South Carolina will be starting a new QB in Ryan Hillinski, which could make that one somewhat interesting.

Afternoon Slate…

  • South Florida at Georgia Tech, 2 p.m. (ACC Network)
  • #12 Texas A&M at #1 Clemson, 3:30 p.m. (ABC)
  • #25 Nebraska at Colorado, 3:30 p.m. (FOX)

Obviously, everyone’s attention will be on Clemson during this timeslot. There really wasn’t any other reason to list any other games, to be honest.

Night Slate…

  • BYU at Tennessee, 7 p.m. (ESPN)
  • #6 LSU at #9 Texas, 7:30 p.m. (ABC)
  • Miami at North Carolina, 8 p.m. (ACC Network)
  • #23 Stanford at USC, 10:30 p.m. (ESPN)

After watching Clemson take on Texas A&M, you might as well keep the television tuned to ABC.

Following the Tigers’ matchup with A&M, LSU and Texas will play on the same network. That one will be fun just because of the pure brand name standpoint, but it will be interesting to see if it’s a good game or not.
