What will the Clemson football depth chart look like in Week 2? Here’s our depth chart breakdown for the Tigers’ match up with Texas A&M.

The Clemson football team will host the Texas A&M Saturday in a Week 2 match up that will be featured nationally on ABC.

The Tigers are looking to improve to 2-0 with a win over the Aggies and continue the streak of being ranked No. 1 in the nation by both the AP and Coaches’ Poll.

As the two teams prepare for a battle in Death Valley, here’s our breakdown of the Clemson football depth chart heading into the match up.

Offensive Depth Chart Breakdown:

There were no changes to the depth chart on the offensive side of the ball. The Tigers have a seasoned offensive line and a ton of talented play-makers at the skill positons.

Looking at the depth chart this week and the participation from last week, there are a few things that we can take away. First, the Tigers have two running backs that they feel comfortable running the ball- Travis Etienne and Lyn-J Dixon. They’ll try to build the depth at the position behind the duo, but we should expect Etienne and Dixon to get the vast majority of the carries.

At wide receiver, freshman WR Joseph Ngata got a ton of snaps behind Tee Higgins and Justyn Ross. It has also been rumored that Amari Rodgers could return this game, but it will likely still be a week or two before he’s truly ready to compete.

Defensive Depth Chart Breakdown:

Tyler Davis and Jordan Williams are still listed as co-starters, but it should fully be expected that Davis goes out with the first-team and that he begins to receive more reps. The freshman was graded as the highest-rated defensive lineman and he’s going to continue to see more playing time.

Derion Kendrick and Sheridan Jones will be tested immensely at that cornerback spot opposite side of AJ Terrell.
