The Clemson football team will host the Texas A&M Aggies Saturday. Here are five Tigers that will be challenged in the match up.

The Clemson football team opened up the 2019 season with an impressive 52-14 win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Thursday night in Death Valley.

Though the Tigers beat the spread, the team still felt as if there was plenty to improve upon heading into Week 2. The Tigers watched the film and addressed the issues they saw on tape. Now, Clemson football has turned its attention fully to preparing for the Texas A&M Aggies.

The Aggies will come to town this weekend for a game slated to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. in Death Valley. Clemson was the victor the last time the two teams matched up as The Tigers picked up a 28-26 victory over Texas A&M in College Station last season. The Aggies will enter Death Valley looking to pull off a major upset.

As of right now, Clemson is listed as a 16.5-point favorite over Texas A&M. The Tigers are ranked as the No. 1 team in the nation, but this game will be no easy task.

Clemson’s defense did a decent job of limiting the run-game against the Aggies last season, but there’s no Christian Wilkins, Clelin Ferrell, Dexter Lawrence or Austin Bryant on this team. However, there’s still plenty of talent defensively, especially when you complement that talent with the elite explosiveness that the Tiger offense possesses.
