The Clemson football team is a double-digit favorite at home against Texas A&M, but the Aggie players are predicting an upset in the game Saturday.

The Clemson football team is anywhere between a 16.5 and 19-point favorite in its match up with Texas A&M Saturday.

The Tigers will host the Aggies in Death Valley at 3:30 p.m. Saturday and the consensus is that the Tigers come away with a victory.

Despite being a national powerhouse, many Texas A&M players are predicting an upset. As a matter of fact, Texas A&M wide receiver Jhamon Ausbon told the media that the Aggies would not be leaving Death Valley without a win.

In addition, Texas A&M Offensive Lineman Jared Hocker promised an upset of the Tigers.

Thoughts:

Overall, this is just players talking. It should be expected that Texas A&M comes into this game confident. They competed with Clemson football last season and had an opportunity to win.

Jimbo Fisher has his program progressing, but there’s just a difference between the Tigers and the Aggies.

Clemson doesn’t have to compensate with talking or guaranteeing a win. Instead, the Tigers give credit to their opponent, talk about what they need to improve upon themselves and then let the game be played on the field.

It’s going to be a nice test for Clemson football Saturday afternoon when the Aggies come to town, but it should be noted that the Tigers have more talent and depth.

Even so, that 19-point spread does seem a little high. It will be interesting to see how this match up plays out and if the Tigers can get the job done on national television.

It’s clear that the Texas A&M players are looking for war, so the Tigers need to show up focused and ready to go. As long as they do that, it will be Clemson football that comes away with the victory.
