After months of anticipation, Clemson football season is officially upon us. Here are five Tigers we’re excited to see against Georgia Tech.

The Clemson football team will open up the season at home against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Thursday evening.

The game will be played on the newly-launched ACC Network and is the debut football game for the new network. The Tigers have been featured heavily on the new network over the course of the past week and it’s clear that the Clemson football program is going to continue to be heavily touted on the new programming.

For those that aren’t able to make it up to Death Valley for the season opener, the Tigers and Yellow Jackets will match up at 8 p.m. on the ACC Network. Davey O’Brien (play-by-play), Tim Hasselbeck (color), Katie George (sideline) and Maria Taylor (sideline) will have the call. Clemson football fans can also listen to the radio call of the game on Clemson Tigers Sports Radio Affiliates or on the WCCP ‘The Roar’ App.

As we get ready for the season opener, here are five Clemson football players we are excited to see in the game against Georgia Tech. For this list, we decided to stay away from the obvious names like Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne, Justyn Ross, Tee Higgins, Isaiah Simmons, Xavier Thomas and AJ Terrell, to name a few.

Of course people are excited to see these future potential first-rounders, but we wanted to give you a few names potentially flying under-the-radar to keep your eyes on as the game unfolds Thursday evening in Death Valley.
