The Clemson football team finished up fall camp Tuesday afternoon. Here are five final takeaways from the Tigers’ preseason camp.

The 2019 Clemson football team is expected to be one of the best in the country.

The Tigers are considered one of the favorites to be back in the CFB Playoff this season and begin the 2019 season ranked No. 1 in both the AP Poll and the Coaches’ Poll.

The last time we saw the Clemson football team in a game, the Tigers were dismantling the Alabama Crimson Tide by a score of 44-16. With the win, Clemson won its second National Championship in the past two seasons.

As the Tigers enter 2019, they’re going to have to replace a lot of talent and leadership off last year’s team. Christian Wilkins, Clelin Ferrell, Dexter Lawrence, Austin Bryant, Hunter Renfrow and Trayvon Mullen were all taken in the 2019 NFL Draft. In addition to losing those draft picks, the Tigers also lost valuable commodities in Albert Huggins, Kendall Joseph, Tre Lamar, Mark Fields and Mitch Hyatt.

Throughout the month of August, the Clemson football players have been going through drills, perfecting the system and competing for playing time through positional battles. The Tigers officially ended fall camp Tuesday afternoon and are now fully focused on game planning for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Before we turn our attention completely to the Yellow Jackets and the season-opener, let’s take a look back at fall camp. Here are our five final takeaway from the Tigers’ preseason camp.
