The 2019 Clemson football team officially finished up fall camp Tuesday afternoon. Here are 10 standouts from the Tigers’ preseason camp.

The 2019 Clemson football season is just a little over a week away from kicking off.

The Tigers will take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in Death Valley. Throughout the month of August, the Tigers have been preparing for the upcoming season through fall camp. On Tuesday, Clemson football officially finished up fall camp and now the team is officially turning its eyes completely towards the Yellow Jackets.

Today, let’s take a look at 10 standouts for Clemson football during preseason camp.

For this list, we decided to stay from the obvious names and those Clemson football players who have already become stars.

Of course guys like Trevor Lawrence, Isaiah Simmons, Travis Etienne, Justyn Ross, Tee Higgins, AJ Terrell and that veteran OL have had good camps, but we wanted to focus on players that have made a name for themselves during fall camp that may not be immediately recognized by the Clemson football faithful.

10. Diondre Overton

Diondre Overton is the first player to make this list. Overton has seemingly locked up the starting position at the slot receiver spot.

He came into camp needing to prove himself and he has done just that. Overton made some plays during preseason camp and has reportedly become more consistent.

Overton has the ability to become a solid wide receiver at the next level and it’s good to see him taking that next step over the course of fall camp.

He’ll also present another valued option for Trevor Lawrence in that deep and talented wide receiver core.
