What are Clemson football fans expecting for 2019? Here’s a list of 10 reasonable expectations Tiger fans can watch for this season.

The expectations are clearly through the roof when talking about the 2019 Clemson football team.

The Tigers come into the season looking to defend their National Championship. Clemson captured the title from a 44-16 victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide back in January. The National Championship was the third in Clemson football history and the second for the program in the last three years.

As we head into this season, Clemson football fans expect the team to be right back in the conversation for another National Title.

The Tigers return plenty of key pieces from last year’s team, including Heisman contender Trevor Lawrence, RB Travis Etienne, WR Justyn Ross and WR Tee Higgins, to name a few. Though the defense will be without some of its key contributors like Christian Wilkins, Dexter Lawrence and Clelin Ferrell, there still is plenty of talent in the unit.

Not only does Clemson football have a ton of talent on both sides of the ball, the Tigers possess the best coaching staff in America. Dabo Swinney has composed a happy and elite staff that is able to outcoach the best in the country. From Brent Venables to Jeff Scott and Tony Elliott to even positional coaches like Brandon Streeter, Todd Bates and Robbie Caldwell, it’s clear that the program has first-class coaches that are focused on developing players to reach their full potential.

With all of that being said, here are 10 reasonable expectations for the 2019 Clemson football season.
