Clemson Football: Tigers finish up summer workouts, ready for camp

The Clemson football players finished up their summer workout routines this week and now have their eyes set on the beginning of fall camp.

The summer of waiting has almost come to an end.

The Clemson football team officially finished up summer workouts earlier this week and now the Tigers will look to get refocused and ready for several weeks of fall camp.

The players have the rest of this week off and will return for Weigh-In day, which is scheduled for next week and is the unofficial start to fall camp.

Finishing up the summer workouts- also known as ‘Transformation Phase’- is a major step towards getting the Clemson football season underway.

We’ve gone through the Media Days and we’ve been engulfed in talking season, but we’re about to enter into one of the most important aspects of the season. The Tigers will use fall camp to get back into ‘football shape,’ as well as get better as a team.

This is a time where the entire Clemson football team will focus inward and look to get prepared for the grind of a long season.

We’ll be hearing updates almost daily from practice sessions and getting analysis from the coaches on what the team is doing well, as well as what they need to improve upon heading into the season.

It will be a long month of August camp, but for those of ready for the return of College Football, it’s certainly a step in the right direction.
