Several 2020 Clemson football commits are competing in The Opening Finals this week. Here’s a look at the commitments participating.

From June 30 until July 3rd, the elite 2020 prospects from around the country will be in Frisco, Texas for The Opening Finals.

Several Clemson football commitments have been participating this week and are looking for a good performance in the final couple of days of the combine.

They are participating in several skill drills that test power, athleticism and explosiveness. Here’s a look at the Clemson football commits that are competing and a few notes from the combine so far.

The Opening Finals Participants:

  • Paul Tchio, 4-star OL
  • Walker Parks, 4-star OT
  • Fred Davis, 5-star DB
  • Myles Murphy, 5-star DE (out with an injury)
  • RJ Mickens, 4-star DB (out with an injury)
  • DJ Uiagalelei, 5-star QB (out with an injury)
  • Demarkcus Bowman, 5-star RB
  • Bryan Bresee, 5-star DL
  • Demonte Capehart, 5-star DT
  • Tre Williams, 4-star DT
  • Mitchell Mayes, 4-star OL

The Tigers had the most commitments of any school in the nation invited to The Opening Finals. Uiagalelei, Mickens and Murphy all chose to sit out instead of participating in drills as they rehab injuries and get completely better.

So far, Demarkcus Bowman has been one of the top performers in the running back group. His explosiveness is fun to watch.

Bryan Bresee, just like in all the other combines that he’s attended, has been extremely impressive working on the defensive line, as well. One of the big Clemson football targets that didn’t make it to The Opening is 5-star LB Justin Flowe.

Tiger commits Bresee and Walker Parks are reportedly working hard to recruit Flowe and were with him last weekend for the Rivals Camp Finals.
