Following Dabo Swinney’s second week of camp, the Clemson football coaching staff made scholarship offers to several elite talents.

The 2021 Clemson football recruiting targets are starting to take shape.

After two weeks of High School football camps, the coaches have extended several offers to prospects from around the country.

The Tigers had several scholarship offers last week, but none compared to this week at camp. Here’s a recap of the scholarship offers made by the Clemson football coaching staff following the second week of camp.

New Scholarship Offers for the 2021 class:

  • Eli Stowers, 4-star QB
  • Beaux Collins, 4-star WR
  • Nolan Rucci, 4-star OL
  • Emeka Egbuka, 4-star ATH
  • Agiye Hall, 4-star WR
  • Malik Newton, ATH
  • Dacari Collins, 4-star WR
  • Nyland Green, DB
  • Jake Brinningstool, 4-star TE

It’s clear that the coaches are really targeting wide receivers in the 2021 class. I’d expect that they end up taking anywhere between 3-5 depending on how the 2020 class shapes up. These are some very talented wide receivers. One of the most impressive, in my opinion, is 4-star WR Beaux Collins.

Collins is the teammate of 5-star Clemson football QB commit DJ Uiagalelei, he’s just a year younger. If Collins chose to head to Tiger Town, he could potentially develop really good chemistry with Uiagalelei when he takes over as the starting quarterback.

Emeka Egbuka is ranked as the nation’s No. 1 athlete, and for good reason. Malik Newton, who is listed as an athlete, plays running back. Newton could be a nice addition to the running back room with Demarkcus Bowman and Kobe Pryor already committed in the 2020 class.

Overall, it’s clear to see that Clemson football coaching staff is starting to turn their attention especially to the 2021 class. It’ll be interesting to see how this cycle shapes up and if the Tigers are able to get a few early commitments later this summer and into the fall.
