As we head into the summer, the 2020 Clemson football recruiting cycle is beginning to wind down. Here are the remaining targets for the Tigers.

5-stars galore.

That has been the theme of the 2020 Clemson football recruiting class over the past couple of months.

The Tigers have hit on several key prospects throughout the spring, including the likes of 5-star DB Fred Davis, 5-star QB DJ Uiagalelei, 5-star RB Demarkcus Bowman, 5-star DL Bryan Bresee and 5-star DE Myles Murphy.

When you add these elite prospects with 10 talented 4-stars and a 3-star who is turning heads with his power at running back, you get the No. 1 class in the nation.

The Clemson football coaching staff has outdone itself to this point. The Tigers have basically gotten every single player off of the top of their big board, with a few exceptions.

Here’s a look at the remaining targets for Clemson football heading into the summer.

Remaining 2020 Targets:

  • Jordan Burch, 5-star DE
  • Justin Flowe, 5-star LB
  • Henry Gray, 4-star DB
  • Daniyel Ngata, 4-star RB
  • Julian Fleming, 5-star WR
  • EJ Williams, 4-star WR
  • Keandre Lambert, 4-star WR
  • Xzavier Henderson, 4-star WR
  • Phillip Webb, 4-star LB

This is the bulk of remaining targets for the 2020 class. The Tigers have cooled their recruitment on several of these guys, and many have decided to go other directions.

Right now, it would be a longshot for Clemson to land Flowe or Fleming.

Burch is considered a South Carolina lean with Georgia surging, as well, but the Tigers certainly aren’t out of it.

Daniyel Ngata is interested in Clemson, but it’s uncertain if the Tigers will take another running back after already having two- 5-star Demarkcus Bowman and 3-star Kobe Pryor- commit in the cycle.

The Tigers are recruiting EJ Williams heavily at wide receiver and it wouldn’t be surprising to see another wide receiver emerge as a heavy favorite for the Tigers.

Clemson has cooled off on its recruitment of 4-star LB Phillip Webb, but that doesn’t mean that things couldn’t pick up again.

Next. Bryan Bresee is recruiting Jordan Burch. dark

There’s a good chance that another prospect surges up the board following this summer, but that is yet to be determined. We will update the board as the 2020 Clemson football recruiting class continues to take shape.

As of now, it’s expected that the Tigers will take somewhere between 4-7 more prospects in the cycle.
