2020 NFL Mock Drafts and early boards are already being released. Clemson football wide receiver Tee Higgins leads the Tigers in terms of prospects.

Athlon Sports released its way-too-early look at the top 50 prospects for the 2020 NFL Draft class.

The list contained several Clemson football players, including some juniors that are expected to leave early.

Clemson football wide receiver Tee Higgins leads the way, being ranked the No. 20 overall prospect in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft.

After Higgins, Isaiah Simmons (No. 22), Travis Etienne (No. 23) and AJ Terrell (No. 49) can be found on the list.

Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa is currently ranked as the No.1 overall prospect on the board. After him is Justin Herbert (QB, Oregon), Andrew Thomas (OL, Georgia), Jerry Jeudy (WR, Alabama) and Walker Little (OL, Stanford).

Alabama leads the list with seven players.

Thoughts:

Honestly, I think Tee Higgins is way too low at No. 20. He is the fourth wide receiver on the list. In reality, Higgins is just as good- if not better- than every wide receiver in this class, including Jerry Jeudy.

Higgins is a boundary guy that can go up and make plays. He is physical and explosive. I think there’s a good chance you see him go in the top-10 before it’s all said and done.

Travis Etienne is the third running back on the list behind Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor and Ohio State’s JK Dobbins. Etienne is going to prove to be one of the top two, if not the top running back in the nation this season. I think he’s probably a little underrated right now, as well, especially with Dobbins ahead of him.

Next. No, Clelin Ferrell wasn't taken too high in the draft. dark

It will be interesting to see how these four Tigers perform this season and if they can move up the ranks. There’s potential for all four of them to go in the first round and I wouldn’t be at all shocked if that’s what ended up developing between now and this time next year.
