5-star Clemson football target Julian Fleming wants to get back down to Tiger Town for another visit, but doesn’t have one set as of yet.

5-star WR Julian Fleming is an extremely talented play-maker.

Fleming, a native of Catawissa, Pennsylvania, is considered the No. 1 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 5 overall player in the nation, according to 247 Sports’ Composite Rankings.

Fleming has kept his recruitment a little closer to the vest, but it is believed that he is a heavy Penn State lean.

For the longest time, Fleming’s recruitment was seemingly a two-way battle between the Nittany Lions and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

It does look as if Clemson has made a run at the talented 5-star prospect through the spring, though.

Fleming told The Clemson Insider that he still thinks very highly of the Clemson football program and that he wants to get back down to Tiger Town in the near future.

Fleming currently only has one visit set: to Georgia in May. He said that he wants to take official visits this summer, but Clemson football only gives official visits in the fall.

Thoughts:

Right now, it doesn’t seem that Fleming is quite ready to make a decision either way.

He will likely take all five of his official visits and extend the recruitment at least into the midway point of the fall.

That bodes well for the Tigers. The quicker a decision is made by Fleming, the more likely it is that he chooses Penn State or maybe even Ohio State.

If Clemson football can get him back on campus a time or two more, I think the Tigers have a chance to swing the talented 5-star prospect and gain a commitment from him before it’s all said and done.

Next. DB room evolving heading into summer. dark

5-star QB DJ Uiagalelei, who is expected to announce his decision in May, has expressed interest in playing with Fleming and the two could potentially team up in Clemson.
