Here’s our look at the 2019 Clemson football offensive line following a successful spring camp and heading into summer conditioning.

The Clemson football offensive line has a chance to be one of the best in school history.

This group has talent, depth and experience. With those three key ingredients, there’s no doubt that the unit could develop into something special.

Heading into the spring, the Tigers were looking to fill holes left by Mitch Hyatt and Justin Falcinelli, who both graduated.

Though Clemson football will still miss those two players in 2019, it’s clear that the Tigers like some of their options and that chemistry is being built at a fast rate.

Making Progress…

As we head into the summer, this is what the starting offensive line group looks like:

  • LT- Jackson Carman
  • LG- John Simpson
  • C- Sean Pollard
  • RG- Gage Cervenka
  • RT- Tremayne Anchrum

That’s a pretty talented group of guys to play along the offensive line. Anchrum, Pollard, Simpson and Cervenka all have starting experience.

Jackson Carman was the No. 1 rated offensive tackle in the nation just a year ago and had his entire freshman season to learn under Hyatt.

Right now, I would still expect Carman to lose a little more weight to try and play down at around 320 pounds. He is a little slow getting off the ball sometimes, but does a really good job recovering and using his arm length to his advantage.

RB pecking order intriguing following spring. dark. Next

The interior of that offensive line with Simpson, Pollard and Cervenka could be extremely powerful this season.

The group will need to continue to work on chemistry in the coming months and, especially, in fall camp.
