The Clemson football team will play in one final scrimmage to close the spring Saturday afternoon. Here’s our betting line for the game.

The Orange & White rosters for the annual Clemson football spring game were revealed Thursday evening.

There’s an expected 60,000 people expected to be in attendance for the scrimmage in Death Valley with many more watching at home on ESPN 2.

Though it’s just a scrimmage, it’s still always a fun tradition to look at the teams and make analysis- even if it doesn’t mean much in terms of what will happen in the fall. Many Clemson football fans will even go as far as to pick a team to root for depending on the rosters.

After looking at the rosters, we decided to set a little Vegas Line for the scrimmage. Here’s a look at the line that we came up with, as well as the Over/Under for the total at the spring game.

Clemson Football Spring Game Line:

Spread: Orange Team -3

Over/Under: 57

Analysis:

We’ve got the Orange Team as a 3-point favorite heading into the spring game. The Orange Team is led by Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence will have Tee Higgins and Joe Ngata as his top receiving targets, as well as Lyn-J Dixon and Tavien Feaster in the backfield.

Isaiah Simmons, Tanner Muse and Xavier Thomas lead the Orange Team defensively.

The White Team has more depth on the offensive line with four of the five expected starters and Chase Brice at quarterback. The White Team also has Travis Etienne, Justyn Ross and Frank Ladson as play-makers.

The White Team has more depth along the defensive line with players like Justin Foster, Justin Mascoll, KJ Henry, Xavier Kelly and Tyler Davis.

I think there’s a good chance we see highly-contested game. Both teams have advantages in certain areas, so it should be close throughout.

As far as 52.5 points, I expect that the game end with a score similar to 31-28 with the offenses winning the day overall.

Sometimes, though, spring game can be deceiving. Offenses typically start out slow, but I don’t think that will be the case this Saturday.
