Clemson Football: DeAndre ‘Nuk’ Hopkins gives shout out to Ross, Higgins
Former Clemson football wide receiver DeAndre ‘Nuk’ Hopkins took to Twitter to boast about the riches that the Tigers currently have at wide receiver.
DeAndre ‘Nuk’ Hopkins had an illustrious Clemson football career, no doubt.
Hopkins was part of the rebuilding years of the Clemson football program and had the opportunity to play in development for a year or two, and then close with teammates that included Sammy Watkins, Tajh Boyd, Charone Peake, Andre Ellington and numerous others.
Hopkins has developed into the best wide receiver in the NFL, in my opinion. His consistency, play-making ability, route-running and explosiveness make him a dynamic threat for opposing defenses to have to worry about.
On Tuesday, Hopkins took to Twitter to boast a little about the riches that Clemson football has at wide receiver in Justyn Ross and Tee Higgins, calling the duo the best two wide receivers in all of College Football.
Thoughts:
It’s great to see Nuk keeping up with what’s going on with Clemson football and continuing to pour back into the program. There was a time where things seemingly were a bit rough when it came to relationships between him and the program, but it appears as though those feelings have changed, at least in some ways.
He has become much more vocal about his support of Clemson football over the past couple of years and that is prominent in posts like this.
As I said earlier, Hopkins is one of, if not the best wide receiver in the NFL. For him to give praise to two collegiate wide receivers, it shows the talent that both Justyn Ross and Tee Higgins possess.
These two guys are the best WR duo in the nation and they are going to be tough to guard this upcoming season, especially when you add in the fact that the Tigers have wide receivers behind them like Amari Rodgers, Derion Kendrick, Diondre Overton and talented freshmen Frank Ladson and Joe Ngata, to name a few.
