Dabo Swinney has completely turned Tiger Town on its head over the past decade. Here are five reasons the Clemson football head coach is the best in America.

When Dabo Swinney took over the Clemson football program back a little more than a decade ago, the Tigers were in turmoil and there was a ton of hostility surrounding the program.

Many fans were unsure if the young Swinney could get the job done and, honestly, many had doubts for several years into his tenure.

Though there were doubters, most Clemson football fans could see the difference in the program a few years in and see that the Tigers were heading in the right direction. Even so, I don’t think anyone could’ve expected what would happen about eight years in when the Tigers began their streak of making CFB Playoffs.

This time of year, many national analysts release their updated “coaching rankings list.” With that in mind, here are five reasons that Dabo Swinney should be considered the best coach in the nation.
