Clemson Football: 5 Breakout Candidates for the Spring 2019

4. Xavier Kelly

Xavier Kelly is going to get a huge opportunity here in the next few practice sessions.

Nyles Pinckney and Jordan Williams- the expected starters at defensive tackle- are both out for the spring.

That means that Kelly will get starter-level reps and have a chance to impress the coaching staff and earn playing time for the upcoming season.

He is basically the only veteran that will participate in spring practice at defensive tackle and I think that should bode well for him.
