The explosiveness on the 2019 Clemson football offense is absolutely amazing. The Tigers may end up having the most talented offense in the nation.

No opposing defensive coordinator is looking forward to playing Clemson football in 2019.

The Tigers return the vast majority of their skill position players from last year and have plenty of offensive line talent, as well. With that kind of talent and mixture, it’s going to be tough for opposing defenses to find a way to shut down the Clemson football offense.

Clemson proved to have one of the most explosive offenses in the nation last season, but this year’s offense has the potential to be even better.

Why?

Let’s take a look at the personnel.

Quarterback:

Trevor Lawrence is the best quarterback in the nation. He is very athletic and has the arm to make every single throw on the field. He’s going to be taken as the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft a couple of years from now and is an absolute nightmare for opposing defenses.

Offensive Line:

While the offensive line will lose Mitch Hyatt and Justin Falcinelli this year, I actually believe they have more talent and depth this season.

Jackson Carman is an elite talent and Gage Cervenka is ready to lead. You will also give guys like John Simpson, Tremayne Anchrum and others a chance to grow another year. This offensive line is going to be even better than that of 2018.

Running Back:

Travis Etienne leads the running backs. Etienne is a Heisman candidate and enters 2019 as one of the best running backs in the country. Behind him is a talented and experience running back in Tavien Feaster and a young and explosive runner in Lyn-J Dixon.

Wide Receiver:

Here’s the wide receivers Clemson has this season: Tee Higgins, Justyn Ross, Amari Rodgers, Derion Kendrick, Cornell Powell, TJ Chase, Diondre Overton, Frank Ladson and Joe Ngata

I’m going to enjoy watching Clemson line up in 10 personnel (four wide receivers on the field) and absolutely just blister defensive backfields.

Next. Could Brannon Spector be the next Hunter Renfrow?. dark

Overall, there’s just no way to stop them.

If you choose to put a bunch of defensive backs out there, Clemson will just pound the ball up the middle and wear you down. If you choose to stack the box, Trevor Lawrence will make you pay in the passing game.
