Clemson football quarterback Trevor Lawrence was voted the best QB in all of CFB by fans, and the poll percentages weren’t even close.

Clemson football quarterback Trevor Lawrence made a name for himself during his freshman season.

Lawrence, who won the starting position at quarterback four games into the season, grew up through the course of the year and helped lead the Tigers to a perfect 15-0 record and a National Championship victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide.

A Twitter poll that garnered more than 4,000 votes from College Football fans voted Trevor Lawrence as the best quarterback in the nation. And the poll percentages weren’t even close.

Although it’s still a small sample size, 72 percent voted for Trevor Lawrence over Tua Tagovailoa.

Thoughts:

There are some elite quarterbacks around the nation, but none are like Trevor Lawrence. The reason Lawrence has garnered all this hype is because he routinely makes NFL-level throws with ease.

He makes tough throws look easy. He’s able to fit the ball into a tight window, connect with receivers all over the field and he just doesn’t make mistakes.

Lawrence finished his freshman season with 3,280 yards passing and 30 touchdowns to just four interceptions. Against Alabama, Trevor Lawrence threw for 347 yards and three touchdowns. He’s just elite.

There’s no way around it. When you look at the arm talent and football IQ, as well as athleticism, that Lawrence possesses, it’s unlike any other. He still has areas in which he can improve and I think you’ll see him gain some more muscle in the offseason, but Trevor Lawrence is the best quarterback in College Football.

Really, it’s not even close.
