2020 Clemson football target 5-star DE Bryan Bresee is trending in the right direction, according to the latest updates in his recruitment.

The 2020 Clemson football recruiting class has the potential to be one of the best, if not the best, in school history.

The Tigers are in prime position to land several key elite prospects before it’s all said and done. One of the top prospects on Clemson football’s board for the 2020 cycle is 5-star DE Bryan Bresee.

Bresee, a native of Damascus, Maryland, made the trip down to Clemson for the Tigers’ Elite Junior Day a couple of weeks ago and, from all accounts, really enjoyed the trip.

He is probably the top defensive end prospect on Clemson’s board, alongside in-state 5-star DE Jordan Burch.

Trending in the right direction…

Early on in his recruitment, the two top schools were considered to be Ohio State and Penn State. While both of those Big Ten schools are still squarely in the running, the Tigers have seemingly entered the picture as equal favorites with both the Buckeyes and the Nittany Lions.

According to 247 sports’ latest crystal ball predictions, the Tigers have a 30 percent chance to land Bresee, which is equal to Ohio State and Penn State.

It’s a long recruitment process and I can tell you that this won’t be easy, but I really like Clemson football’s chances before it’s all said and done.

The key for the Tigers will be getting him back on campus sooner rather than later. Hopefully Bresee is able to make it to the spring game or to the All-In Cookout. You’d like to see him use an official visit to come back this fall during the season.

If Clemson can get him back on campus a time or two more, I think the Tigers will have a great chance of landing the talented prospect.
