A plethora of talented prospects will be on campus for Clemson football’s first Junior Day in the offseason. Here’s a look at some of the visitors.

A host of talented 2020 prospects will be visiting Tiger Town this weekend for Clemson football’s first Junior Day of the offseason.

This is one of the biggest recruiting weekends of the year for Clemson football.

The Tigers typically will host a second Junior Day later this spring and then the All-In Cookout this summer. This particular Junior Day is a collection of the most star-power ever assembled on Clemson’s campus at the same time.

Clemson is expected to host several talented 5-stars and 4-stars from around the country. Here’s a list of players that are expected to make the trip for the event this weekend.

  • Bryan Bresee, 5-star DL
  • Jordan Burch, 5-star DE
  • Fred Davis, 5-star CB
  • Luke Hill, 4-star CB
  • Henry Gray, 4-star CB
  • Arik Glibert, 5-star TE
  • Cole Brevard, 4-star DT
  • Tre Williams, 4-star DT
  • Kevin Swint, 4-star LB
  • Rakim Jarrett, 5-star WR
  • Jaylan Knighton, 4-star RB
  • Mitchell Mayes, 4-star OL
  • Myles Murphy, 5-star DE
  • Chris Thompson, 4-star S
  • Bryn Tucker, 4-star OL
  • Timothy Smith, 4-star DT
  • KeAndre Lambert, 4-star WR
  • EJ Williams, 4-star WR
  • Mohamad Kaba, 3-star LB

Analysis:

There may be a couple more surprise visitors or guys that have flown under the radar, but this is the big list as of now. Clemson football commits are also expected to be on campus.

5-star RB Demarkcus Bowman was originally thought to be making the trip, but won’t be in Clemson this weekend. Hopefully the Tigers can get him in for the second Junior Day. 5-star WR Julian Fleming was thinking about the trip, but weather up north seemed to impede him from coming. I still expect that the Tigers get Fleming on campus soon.

UPDATE: Bowman was able to make the trip, but 5-star WR Rakim Jarrett was not. He said he plans to visit Clemson later.

DJ Uiagalelei lives in California, so I’d imagine making the trip across country would be pretty tough to do. He is expected to be back in Clemson for the spring game in a couple of months.

Next. Jackson Carman is ready for the challenge. dark

As far as the visitors coming this weekend, I’d keep my eye on 4-star Luke Hill. Hill has been a heavy Clemson lean and he may be a guy ready to pull the trigger and commit this weekend. Even if not, it’s good to get him back on campus.

JUNIOR DAY LIVE UPDATES:

– 4-star LB Kevin Swint and 4-star DT Tre Williams announced commitments to Clemson Saturday.
