Several former Clemson football players are listed in NFL.com’s latest update of the top 50 prospects for the upcoming NFL Draft.

The NFL Draft is still months away, but we’re already seeing several Clemson football players listed as top prospects for the April event.

Daniel Jeremiah, NFL media analyst for the NFL Network, released his first draft of the top 50 prospects in the upcoming 2019 draft.

Here’s a look at the list and where the four Tigers that made the list fell in the prospect order:

7. Christian Wilkins, DT

21. Dexter Lawrence, DT

22. Clelin Ferrell, DE

38. Trayvon Mullen, CB

Analysis:

There’s a solid chance we see three Clemson football players drafted in the first round. I really believe that Wilkins and Lawrence have the potential to go anywhere from 7-16. I think you could see Ferrell move up the boards and be a higher draft pick than around 22nd, as well.

As a matter of fact, Jeremiah has three defensive ends (Nick Bosa, OSU; Josh Allen, Kentucky; Montez Sweat, Mississippi State) ranked ahead of Ferrell, but I’m not sure that Ferrell doesn’t find a way to go ahead of a couple of them.

Trayvon Mullen is looking like an early second rounder as he is the fifth cornerback in Jeremiah’s rankings.

Just in case you were wondering…

Here’s the top 5 prospects, according to Jeremiah:

  1. Nick Bosa, DE OSU
  2. Quinnen Williams, DT Alabama
  3. Josh Allen, DE Kentucky
  4. Rashan Gary, DL Michigan
  5. Jeffery Simmons, DT Mississippi State

Others not listed for the Tigers include Mitch Hyatt, Austin Bryant, Kendall Joseph, Tre Lamar, Hunter Renfrow and Albert Huggins.

Next. A former Tiger is realizing a dream. dark

I’m a bit surprised that Hyatt isn’t listed in the top 50. I know he won’t be one of the first offensive tackles taken, but he certainly should be getting more consideration than he currently is. A franchise is going to get a steal if Hyatt falls to the mid-rounds, which looks like a major possibility at this point.
