Clemson Football: Justyn Ross billboard beats Bama a second time
Clemson football WR Justyn Ross got a commemorative billboard in his hometown for winning the National Championship. His hometown just so happens to be in Alabama.
Everybody has seen it by now.
Several Clemson football players were celebrated by their respective hometowns with billboards highlighting their accomplishment of winning the National Championship.
It started with Trevor Lawrence down in Georgia and then worked its way up.
The latest billboard to go up, though, is one that may be the best out of all of them. Justyn Ross, who just finished his freshman season with Clemson football, got a commemorative billboard celebrating his accomplishment of winning the National Championship.
Where’s Ross’s hometown? Phenix City, Alabama.
For those of you wondering, Phenix City is located in eastern Alabama. It’s about a three hour drive to Tuscaloosa.
What’s funny about this, in my opinion, is the fact that thousands of Crimson Tide fans are going to pass this billboard and see it before it’s all said and done.
Justyn Ross was a huge part in the Tigers’ success against Alabama. As a matter of fact, his catches really energized the team and took Alabama out of the game. He was, without a doubt, a star in the outcome.
And now right there in Alabama, there’s a billboard with him making that amazing one-handed grab for all to see.
In some ways, it’s almost like Ross is beating Bama again.
Justyn Ross absolutely deserved the billboard. He was a huge playmaker for the Tigers this season and it’s awesome to see his hometown showing that it is proud of him for his accomplishments with Clemson football.
Even though many around there are Bama fans, they are able to recognize a special player when they see him and know just how good Justyn Ross has a chance of becoming before it’s all said and done.
