Clemson football is the early favorite to win the 2019 National Championship. Here’s a look at the way-too-early Vegas odds on the upcoming season.

The Clemson football team took care of the Alabama Crimson Tide Monday night in the National Championship game, defeating the Tide 44-16.

With the win, Clemson won its third-ever National Title and, in doing so, took the College Football world by storm.

The entire nation watched on as the Tigers completely bulled Alabama in a surprising victory.

Because of that, Vegas changed its early odds on the 2019 National Championship from favoring the Crimson Tide to favoring the Tigers.

Here’s a look at the way-too-early Vegas odds on the upcoming season.

2019 Clemson Football Vegas Odds…

Right now, it’s time to celebrate this National Championship. This is, without a doubt, a special team and Tiger fans need to take it all in, enjoy the moment and realize that what happened last night has only happened two other times in school history.

But, according to Vegas, Clemson has a great chance to get back to the National Championship game next year and repeat as champions.

Currently, the Tigers are at 9/5 odds to win the National Championship. Alabama is second at 5/2 and then Ohio State and Georgia are tied at third at 12/1.

Other odds include Michigan at 14/1; Oklahoma 15/1; Texas 20/1; Nebraska 25/1; Washington 25/1; Florida 25/1; Notre Dame 25/1; Oregon 30/1; Wisconsin 50/1; LSU 50/1; Mississippi State 50/1; and Auburn 50/1.

We’re way off from really being able to gauge what the Tigers will look like next year.

A lot of it is going to depend on how the young guys behind the upperclassmen step up. Can guys like Xavier Thomas, KJ Henry, Nyles Pinckney and Jordan Williams fill the holes of that defensive line?

Also, which juniors will stay for one more year and which ones will choose to leave early for the NFL Draft?

Can the offensive line fill the holes after losing a couple of key starters in Mitch Hyatt and Justin Falcinelli from this year’s team? There’s several questions, but we all know that the offense is going to be prolific.

And I believe that Brent Venables will have the defense ready to go. It should be fun, but for now, let’s enjoy the National Championship.
