The Clemson football team will take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the National Title game. The Vegas spread is trending toward the Tigers.

Clemson football is just one win away from a National Championship.

The Tigers won their second National Championship in 2016 led by quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Now freshman Trevor Lawrence has a chance to lead Clemson to its third Natty with a win over foe Alabama Monday night in Santa Clara.

Though the Crimson Tide opened up as 6.5 point favorites, the line has trended toward Clemson as of late.

The consensus spread is down to 5.5, which is a point lower than the original line. There are a few other books, though, that are down as low as 4.5 points. You’re seeing a lot of professional bettors and analysts pick the Tigers against the spread.

Even if they think Alabama is going to win the game outright, they believe that the game is going to be closer than a touchdown.

In my opinion, I agree with the vast majority of analysts picking this game to be within a touchdown. Both of these teams are very equal. I see a ton of similarities between the two programs and the personnel they have this year.

Both of them have physical lines and talented skill players. I’m interested in seeing if Clemson football breaks some tendencies Monday night and we see some things we haven’t seen all year on the offensive side of the ball.

You can bet that the Tigers are chomping at the bit to get Alabama again this year after not being able to score a single touchdown against the Tide in 2017.
