Clemson Football: Many Bama fans think the Natty will be a blowout
Clemson football will take on Alabama in the National Championship. Many Tide fans are thinking blowout as we head into rematch.
The Clemson football team improved to 14-0 with a win over Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl this past Saturday.
The Tigers will now turn their attention to the Alabama Crimson Tide in the National Championship game.
Interestingly enough, the two teams have matched up the last three years and the winner of that game has determined the National Champion. This year- Part IV- will not only determine the National Champion, it will also make history.
The winner of this game will be the first 15-0 team in College Football history. It’s never happened before in the CFB Playoff era, but it’s happening this year.
While Vegas considers this to be a touchdown game, there are many Alabama and SEC fans that seem to believe this is going to be a blowout. Now, I won’t categorize everyone in this group because there are a ton of Bama fans that believe it will be a hard-fought game, but here’s a look at some of those Twitter folk who believe it’s going to be a blowout Monday night in Santa Clara.
Thoughts:
Maybe these people are right. Maybe this game is a blowout and we see Alabama roll on to their second-straight National Championship.
But, that’s certainly not what I’m thinking.
In my opinion, you’re going to see a hard-fought game that comes down to the final few possessions.
Clemson is clearly the most talented team that Alabama has faced all season. Alabama is clearly the most talented team that Clemson has faced.
Because of that, I believe that the two teams will give each other everything they have. Both of these teams have the talent and coaching experience to win the National Championship. It’s going to come down to which one executes at a higher level.
