Clemson Football: Fox Sports Analysts make National Championship predictions

Two Fox Sports Analysts have made their predictions for Clemson football’s matchup with Alabama in the National Championship.

Fox Sports 1’s panel of analysts gave their predictions for Clemson football’s matchup with Alabama in the National Championship.

Matt Leinart and Dave Wannstedt both picked the Tigers when the panel revealed their picks. Robert Smith went with Alabama, but all three analysts were very high on Clemson.

To me, this is interesting. I would expect that the vast majority of analysts would pick Alabama.

So far, though, the vast majority of national analysts have been torn seemingly between Clemson and Alabama.

Obviously, there are several guys in the media business that will lean heavily towards Alabama, but I do think that you can see the respect being given to the Clemson football program.

It’s not the same as before.

I think that most analysts are really starting to take notice of the program that Dabo Swinney is building at Clemson. I think they’re really starting to realize the staying power that Swinney and Clemson has.

Because of that, you’re starting to see more analysts favoring the Tigers or at least acknowledging the fact that Clemson is the team with the best chance at beating Alabama.

It will be interesting to see the picks from the rest of the national analysts and the thoughts that come in from organizations like ESPN and CBS here in the next few days.
