The Clemson football team will take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the National Championship. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?
The Clemson football team absolutely dismantled the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Cotton Bowl Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers defeated the Irish 30-3 and, honestly, could’ve scored more if they had wanted to.
Next up for Clemson is the National Championship game. The Tigers have played in three of the last four National Championships and their opponent is a familiar foe.
For the fourth-consecutive year, the winner of Clemson-Alabama will decide the College Football National Champion.
The good folks on Twitter gave their reactions to Clemson-Alabama Part IV coming to fruition. Here’s what they had to say about it.
Twitter Reacts…

I understand why people are piling on #NotreDame but I think we just have to say that #Alabama & #Clemson are just far and away the best teams in College Football this year. #CollegeFootballPlayoffs #Collegefootballplayoff #NationalChampionship

Alabama and Clemson are so much better than every other team it’s honestly sad.

Looks like we will be seeing a Clemson Alabama National Title game prob until 2031

Every time Clemson blows somebody out in a playoff game they say the team was overrated. Oklahoma, Ohio State, ND... Maybe Clemson and Alabama are just that much better than everyone else.

Can Alabama and Clemson be promoted to the NFL already?? #RollTide #ALLIN

I think people are starting to realize the fact that Clemson and Alabama are just heads and shoulders ahead of every single program in the nation right now.
College Football can change in a heartbeat, but for the last few years there just hasn’t been a more consistent program than what the Tigers and Tide have brought. Alabama has been consistent for what seems like forever. Clemson is just stepping on the big stage, but now with four years of CFB Playoff under their belt and three National Championship trips, you have to look at the Tigers with the same eyes- at least in some respects- as Alabama.
Dabo Swinney has done an excellent job building this Clemson football program from the ground up.
The Tigers certainly will have a chance to win the National Championship, which would make two in the last three years, but Bama will be no easy out.
Next. 3 Takeaways from the Cotton Bowl victory vs. ND. dark
The Crimson Tide are very physical at the point of attack and have a stud at quarterback by the name of Tua Tagovailoa. The key will be finding a way to slow down that prolific Alabama offense.
