Clemson football defensive lineman Christian Wilkins won’t just be finishing up his collegiate football career in December, he’ll have a Master’s Degree.

Christian Wilkins is one of the best to ever play for Clemson football.

Not only has Wilkins been a great ambassador for the Tigers, it seems as if he’s done it all.

I mean think about this: How many football players can say they’ve scored a receiving touchdown, a rushing touchdown, had many sacks, tackles for loss, started games at both defensive end and defensive tackle, won four ACC Championships and a National Championship?

Really, the only thing Wilkins hasn’t done on the football field is play quarterback, which he lobbied for heavily this year.

But, what may be more impressive is Wilkins’ dedication off the field.

After finishing up his undergrad in two and a half years, Wilkins is going to finish both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in just three and half years. He’s going to graduate next week.

There are a lot of college students who don’t participate in athletics that don’t graduate with their undergrad in three and a half years. As a matter of fact, most college students take at least four years, most of the time more, to graduate with the undergrad.

Then a Master’s typically takes two, if not three, more years.

Next. Trevor Lawrence named PFF ACC Player of the Year. dark

What Wilkins has done is just unprecedented. He has to be one of the best to ever play for Clemson football. I mean the guy has done basically everything on the football field, he’s been a substitute teacher and he’s about to graduate with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in just three and a half years.

We at Rubbing the Rock would like to say congratulations to Christian Wilkins and wish him the best in his next endeavors,  which I’m sure he’ll be just as big of a success.
