You might as well consider Bank of America Stadium the second home of the Clemson football program. The Tigers basically have a “home away from home.”

Clemson football came away with a 42-10 win over the Pittsburgh Panthers Saturday night in Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.

With the win, the Tigers locked up their fourth-straight ACC Championship. Clemson has beaten four different teams (UNC in 2015; Virginia Tech in 2016; Miami in 2017 and now Pitt in 2018) each season.

You might as well consider Charlotte a second home for the Tigers.

If you attended the game in Bank of America Stadium, you know what I’m talking about.

This team is used to playing in this stadium. The seniors don’t know what it’s like to go an entire season without playing in Charlotte and they don’t know anything other than winning in that stadium.

If you were in Charlotte, one thing you’d notice pretty quickly is that there was a ton of orange. The stadium was completely full of Clemson football fans. That created a home field-type advantage for the Tigers throughout the night.

The same thing could be said about the three previous years.

The crazy thing is this: It’s not over.

In Dabo Swinney’s post game address to the fans he said it was “so much fun, we’ll just have to do it again.”

One of the goals of this Clemson football program each year is to win the ACC Championship. You can bet that the Tigers will be hungry to get back to Charlotte next season, as well. Could Clemson make it five-straight conference titles?

Next. Clemson dominates Pitt, wins fourth-straight conference title. dark

I’d certainly bet on it if you asked me tonight.

Now, the Tigers will compete in the College Football Playoff. Clemson will be looking to get back to the National Championship game and compete for the big title here in the next few weeks.
