It’s conference championship week in the world of College Football. Here are our predictions for this week’s slate of games across the nation.

The 2018 College Football season has just one week left before we head into bowl season.

It seems like just a little while ago we were just getting started.

We will have our scoring prediction and a full analysis of the ACC Championship game a little later today, so keep your eye out for that on Rubbing the Rock. Here is our predictions and analysis for the three other Power-Five Conference Championship games played today- the Pac-12 Championship game was held Friday night.

College Football Predictions:

  • SEC Championship: Alabama vs. Georgia

It’s the rematch of last year’s National Championship game. Alabama has some issues in the secondary and Georgia has a decent quarterback in Jake Fromm. I don’t think the Bulldogs will hesitate to put Justin Fields on the field at times, either.

Bama has the trump card, though, with Tua Tagovailoa. I think this one is close and we see some flaws in the Crimson Tide, but they still come away with the win in the end.

Alabama 31, Georgia 24

  • Big Ten Championship: Ohio State vs. Northwestern

Ohio State played a very good game offensively against Michigan last week. I think that spells “let down” in this one.

I’m not saying that the Buckeyes lose, but I do believe Northwestern will keep this one close for a while. I mean, Ohio State did just struggle with Maryland a couple of weeks ago.

Ohio State 35, Northwestern 21

  • Big 12 Championship: Oklahoma vs. Texas

Texas is going to make this one a close game.

Here’s a shocking thought: I think we see a high-scoring game. You’re going to see both teams score a lot of points, but Kyler Murray is just getting better and better each week for the Sooners. Oklahoma avenges the loss from earlier in the season.

Oklahoma 48, Texas 42
