The Clemson football team will host South Carolina tonight in Death Valley. Here is our scoring prediction for the Tigers against the Gamecocks.

Clemson football will take on the South Carolina Gamecocks Saturday night in Death Valley with the chance of winning five-straight against their in-state rival.

In addition to winning the annual rivalry game, the Tigers will be able to finish the regular season undefeated with a win.

Here is our scoring prediction and final analysis for the game.

Analysis:

Unless the Tigers just hurt themselves, I just don’t see anyway that the Gamecocks can keep this one close for very long.

It’s one of those deals where one team is just better than the other team, as it has been each of the last four years for Clemson.

Anything can happen in a rivalry game, but as long as the Tigers come out and don’t turn the ball over or make dumb mistakes, they should be fine.

I think Clemson should have an advantage in the passing game against South Carolina and that Gamecock secondary. I also believe that the Tigers will be able to create pressure along the line of scrimmage and force Jake Bentley to throw the ball up for grabs a few times.

The keys for Clemson will be getting out to an early lead, not turning the ball over and creating pressure. If the Tigers can do those three things, they’ll have a great chance at not just winning the game, but coming away with a blow out victory.

Prediction:

Clemson 48, South Carolina 10

I think the Tigers get the job done at home and we see Christian Wilkins, Hunter Renfrow and the rest of those seniors leave Death Valley with a win.
