The Clemson football team will host South Carolina Saturday night. Here’s the keys to victory and game information for the annual rivalry matchup.

Clemson football will host the South Carolina Gamecocks Saturday night in Death Valley.

The Tigers will be looking to finish undefeated in the regular season and improve to five-straight wins against the Gamecocks.

Here are our keys to the game and all the information you’ll need to know to watch or listen to the game live.

Game Information:

Kickoff for the game will be at 7 p.m. on ESPN. If you tune in, you’ll be listening to the same crew that called the Clemson football game last weekend in Steve Levy (play-by-play), Brian Griese (color) and Todd McShay (sideline), according to ClemsonTigers.com.

If you’re tuning in on the radio, you can listen to the Tiger Pregame Show beginning at 1 p.m. That will be followed by the Tiger Tailgate Show at 4 p.m. and then the actual broadcast featuring Don Munson (play-by-play), Rodney Williams (color), Tim Bouret (color) and Reggie Merriweather (sideline) beginning at 6 p.m. and working through the night.

You can hear the Tiger Pregame Show and the Tiger Tailgate Show on the WCCP App and you can hear the Tailgate show on select Clemson Tigers Radio Affiliates.

Keys to the Game:

  1. Don’t turn the ball over
  2. Get the offense going early
  3. Create pressure on defense

I think that’s the recipe to seeing a Clemson football win Saturday night. The Tigers don’t need to do anything to give the Gamecocks momentum, like turning the ball over. If the offense can get going early and the defense can apply pressure, we’ll see Clemson take control of the game basically from the get-go.

If the Tigers can’t do those things, you may see South Carolina stick around for a little while.

It should be a fun one in Death Valley Saturday night. The temperature will be around 46 degrees at kickoff and will drop to around 41 as the night progresses. If you’re heading to the game, make sure you pack an extra jacket and some hand warmers for sure.
