3. Trevor Lawrence carves the Gamecocks’ secondary up

South Carolina is a middle-of-the-pack team in pass coverage and the Gamecocks haven’t really played a prolific quarterback.

They’re just not ready for Trevor Lawrence and those Clemson wide receivers.

Tee Higgins absolutely dominated the Gamecock secondary last year. He’ll have no trouble getting open this year, either. Lawrence will find the open guy and I expect him to have a big day for the Tigers.
